Weather policy: The Pumpkin Festival is a weather dependent event. If there is any doubt about the weather, please check our website, Facebook, or Twitter for updates on the morning of your visit. You can also call 301-428-0444. If Butler’s Orchard closes the Pumpkin Festival for the day due to weather, we are happy to help you reschedule or we will refund your Campfire Party Site reservation fee. Tickets for entry may be used for any Pumpkin Festival date or may be returned by the party host only for a refund through our office.

How it Works

$125 – CAMPFIRE PARTY SITE ONLY RESERVATION

$500 – CAMPFIRE PARTY SITE PACKAGE RESERVATION (includes 30 pre-paid tickets for Festival Admission)

Host your small group event at one of our Campfire Party Sites. It’s the ideal location! Bring your birthday party, employee group, children’s play group, family get-together, scout troop, Church group, you name it. Campfire Party Sites are located near the Farm Park and close to all the Pumpkin Festival activities yet provides privacy and a reserved space to gather with family and friends.  All sites are reserved and paid for in advance.

Each party reservation accommodates a maximum of 30 people. IMPORTANT: If your party is larger than 30 people, you may make an additional Campsite reservation.  Only two reservations may be made for any party, for a total of up to 60 people. If you are interested in hosting a party larger than 60 people, please contact our office at 301-428-0444 to discuss Event options.

Campfire Party Site reservations are from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.  All sites must be cleared by 4:00 pm.  You are welcome to stay and enjoy the Festival until it closes at 5:00 pm but you must vacate the Campfire Party Site by 4:00 pm.  NO EXCEPTIONS.

Your Campfire Party Site reservation includes:
- 1 Picnic Table and 2 Benches
- A campfire for s’mores or hot dogs!  Food Packages and S’mores Kits are available to order online when you make your reservation.

- Does not include Festival admission ($12/person) if Campfire Party Site Only reservation is made.
Everyone in your party (age 2 and older)  is required to pay admission and to wear a Butler’s Orchard wristband.
All guests, including hosts/hostesses and guests of honor must pay admission at the gate ($12/person) or you may pre-purchase tickets for your guests for admission.
Please note: there are no drop-offs allowed for parties. Everyone coming to the Pumpkin Festival must drive through and pay at the Welcome Gate.

There are a number of ways that you can add to your guests experience at the Farm!  If you would like to add apple sling shot tickets, a free pick your own pumpkin, or face painting to your party, please call the office to discuss.  Want to send all your guests home with a bag of Hallie’s Heavenly Kettle Corn?  Just order online when you make your reservation.

Pumpkin Festival Dates for 2018:  September 29, 30, October  6, 7, 8, 13, 14, 20, 21, 27, 28 and Last Call for Fall November 3, 4.

Reservations are required and can be made by clicking on the “Make Your Reservation Here” button at the bottom of this page. A credit card is required and will be charged when you make a reservation.

Food Packages and S’mores Kits can be ordered online when making your reservation.

  • Hot Dog Package: 32 uncooked hot dogs, 32 buns, 10 roasting sticks to share, condiments, and napkins. Package Price is $82.00.
  • Hot Dog, Chips, and Drink Package: 32 uncooked hot dogs, 32 buns, 10 roasting sticks to share, 30 snack size Snyder chips, 2 gallons of Apple Juice or Cider, condiments, cups, and napkins. Package Price is $150.00
  • S’Mores Kit: Marshmallows, chocolate, graham crackers and 10 roasting sticks to share. Serves 30 people. $30.00
  • Apple Cider:  $6.99/gallon.  A gallon contains 16 eight ounce servings.
  • Kettle Corn:  $6.00/ 14 ounce bag.
  • Apple Cider Donuts:  $10.00/dozen

You may bring your own food and beverage (no alcohol). Grills are not permitted.

Electricity is not available at our Campfire Party Sites.

Trash cans and recycling bins are provided.

It is the group host’s responsibility to ensure that your Campfire Party Site is cleaned and returned to its original condition. Groups will be charged an additional flat fee of $250 if Butler’s Orchard has to clean after an event.

For Groups Arriving by Bus (please share this information with your driver):
Busses should approach Butler’s Orchard via Route 27 directly to Davis Mill Road.  Avoid Brink Road and Wildcat Road due to dangerous curves.  Map and directions are on our website at ButlersOrchard.com.
