What if it rains?

Most events at Butler’s Orchard are weather dependent and we occasionally must close due to inclement weather.

If it is wet or rainy on the day of your visit, please visit our homepage or call our recorded information line at 301-972-3299. Both are updated frequently. You can also check current weather conditions at the farm by visiting the weather link on our homepage.

Our Farm Market remains open on rainy days.

If you have a group reservation on a rained out day, please call us and we will be happy to help you reschedule your event or, if we are unable to find an alternate date, we will gladly reimburse your payment.

Coming By Bus?
Large buses should approach via Davis Mill Road off Route 27. Please see map on our Directions page.
