Most events at Butler’s Orchard are weather dependent
and we occasionally must close due to inclement weather.
If it is wet or rainy on the day of your visit, please visit
our homepage or call our recorded information line at 301-972-3299.
Both are updated frequently. You can also check current weather
conditions at the farm by visiting the weather link from
any page on our website.
Our Farm Market remains open
on rainy days.
If you have a group reservation on a rained out day,
please call us and we will be happy to help you reschedule
your event or, if we are unable to find an alternate date,
we will gladly reimburse your payment.

Butler's
is an Integrated
Pest Management Farm. We have a professional scout who is with
us weekly to check our crops for insects and disease pressures.
This allows us to reduce our applications and move toward more sustainable
production systems.
