Cider Server

Butler’s Orchard is actively seeking people 21 AND OLDER to join our team for the duration of our Pumpkin Festival as Cider Servers. You will be pouring cider at our Cider Garden during our Pumpkin Festival!

Schedule

Daytime only, SEASONAL from September 20-November 2 (plus training)
Every weekend (daytime), plus Columbus Day
10am-6pm

Responsibilities

  • Check IDs for legal drinking age
  • Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic cider to guests at Pumpkin Festival

Requirements

  • At least 21 years old

Prefered Qualifications

  • Serving or bartending experience (a plus but not required)
  • TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol Certification (a plus but not required)

Pay & Benefits

$17.15-20.00/hour commensurate with experience (tips not guaranteed)

Line/Prep Cook

We are looking for a Line Cook to prepare food to our menu specifications. Line Cook duties will consist of assisting the foodservice manager with their daily tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction.

Schedule

Daytime only, SEASONAL from September 20-November 2 (plus training)
Every weekend (daytime), some weekday (daytime) shifts Wed-Fri
No less than 20 hours per week

Responsibilities

  • Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
  • Prepare food for service (e.g. making pizza, deep frying, grilling, etc.)
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
  • Answer, report and follow Food service Manager’s direction
  • Clean up station and take care of leftover food
  • Stock inventory appropriately
  • Ensure that food comes out in a timely fashion and is high quality
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Requirements

  • Proven cooking experience (1 year), including experience as a Line Chef, Restaurant Cook or Prep Cook
  • Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
  • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
  • Familiar with industry’s best practices

Forklift Operator

We are looking for experienced, seasonal Forklift Drivers to join the Butler’s Team. A qualified candidate must be at least 18 years old, able to drive both a vehicle and forklift, be friendly with our guests and work safely and efficiently without direct supervision.

Daytime only, SEASONAL from September 20-November 2 (plus training)
Every weekend (daytime), some weekday (daytime) shifts Tues-Fri
No less than 20 hours per week

Responsibilities

  • Receive Farm Market deliveries
  • Maintain warehouse organization
  • Fuel up as needed
  • Check tire pressures
  • Keep loading areas clean and clear of trip hazards

Requirements

  • At least 18 years old
  • Forklift experience
